The Xtreme Defender builds on the advanced Xtreme Defense Fluid Transfer Monolithic (FTM) projectile technology to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. This results in a Permanent Wound Cavity (PWC) of unprecedented size vastly surpassing any expanding hollowpoint in terms of wound volume. Unlike traditional hollowpoints, the non-expanding solid copper body of the Xtreme Defender is impervious to common barriers such as wallboard, sheet metal and automotive glass. This ensures that the Permanent Wound Channel remains unaffected and fully operational regardless of the materials it encounters. The ammunition is housed in nickel-plated brass casings, which offer numerous advantages: enhanced feeding reliability, superior corrosion resistance compared to traditional brass, improved aesthetics and easier cleanup during reloading.
